Construction sequence
Build what matters first

Draw the brim as a shallow tilted ellipse and break its front edge into a few broad fabric waves.

Raise a tapered crown from the brim, bending its center line right and curling the narrow tip back inward.

Wrap a dark band around the crown as a curved strip and place the rectangular buckle across its front overlap.

Add gold stars only after the crown planes read, narrowing motifs that turn toward the side edges.

Group the deepest purple beneath the brim, band, and curled tip, leaving lighter planes along the crown's bend.

Rotate the hat three-quarters and show the brim underside, band recession, twisted crown planes, and cast shadow from the curl.
